What does this document include?

This document outlines changes introduced to the standard behaviour of the File Picker and Advanced File Picker components introduced as part of the v25.4 release.

Details of changes

Displaying attachments in Service

All attachments that are added to a Service Request through either the File Picker or Advanced File Picker components will be displayed in the ‘attachments’ region of the form when viewed from the Service module.

This behaviour will not change regardless of whether the component is set to ‘primary’. In the previous version of the components, files would only display in the attachments region if the component was set to ‘primary’.

File picker component document types

The standard File Picker component now has the option for the submitter to select a document type for their uploaded file. Admins can select one document type per File Picker, and can configure multiple File Picker components across the form (one per page) each with a defined file type associated.
