Release Notes - v25.4 (29th November 2025)

This article outlines the enhancements and further developments that form part of the v25.4 release, scheduled for deployment on live MCS systems on 29th November 2025.

Mobile Worker decommissioning	MobileOps	Mobile Worker is scheduled to be decommissioned. All mobile operative work should be completed through the MobileOps app.	Guide
V5 Customer Portal	V5 Portal	General improvements and fixes across the V5 portal, and a new calendar design for the Date Picker component.	Guide
Hide V5 search bar	V5 Portal	The ability to hide the search bar and icon on the V5 Customer Portal. This can be enabled using a check box on the V5 Theme configuration page.	Guide
Multiple accounts with same email	Community	Customers can have accounts with multiple councils with the same email address, allowing them to transact with each independently.	-
365 email scheduler	Mail	Implementing of a scheduler to resend emails sent from a 365 mailbox which have failed.	Guide
Service Request Outcome ordering	Outcomes	Outcomes against Service Request will be displayed with the most recently added first.	-
Template changes update rules	Templates	If an email/SMS/document template is changed, the change will be implemented in the Rules module automatically. Please note that other areas will still need to be manually changed, such as notifications configured within a bookable item.	-
Supplier Contracts module	Supplier Contracts	New module for adding and managing supplier contracts.	Guide
Bereavements module	Bereavements	Significant updates to the cemeteries and bereavements module.	Guide
Notes templates	Notes	Users can create templates that can be used when adding notes within the system. Note templates can be configured under Administration > (General) Templates > Note Templates, and the created template must then be mapped against a note type.	-
Saving Task Forms as a draft	MobileOps	Operatives will have the ability to save a Task Form as a draft on MobileOps and return to it later. The save for later button should be added to the buttons section on a Task Form.	-
File Picker changes	Components	Changes to the File Picker and Advanced File Picker components to display all files is the 'attachments' region on Service. Addition of file type option for File Picker plugin.	Guide
Grants Component	Grants	New component to allow a submitter to select one of their previous submissions with a grant awarded against it to link the new Service Request to.	Guide
Grants import	Grants	Ability to import grant awards to existing Service Requests.	Guide
Send Notification - Service	Service	Functionality to send bulk notifications out to the submitters of a certain form.	Guide
Configure MFA options	V5 Portal	Users can choose which MFA options are available for customers on the V5 Portal. Email cannot be disabled as this is the standard option with no associated cost, however SMS and phone call can be turned off through Administration > (Portal V5) Settings.	-
