Geometry Capture

The new functionality allows the users to draw a polygon or a geometrical shape on the map to capture the location of the asset from the back-office or mobile app (MobileOps). It is useful in the scenarios where there is a need to capture an area along the asset.

There are no specific configuration steps involved to use this feature.

To use this feature from the back-office, the user can follow these steps:

1. Go to Assets tab and select any asset.

2. Select Add -> Location from the right-side menu.

3. Select ‘Geometry’ tab on the location pop-up and a map will appear showcasing your location.
