How do I use the Asset Plugin on Forms?

The assets configured in MCS are available as a plugin on the forms. 

Note - This is intended for User Only usage

Configuring the Asset plugin on form builder

Go to forms builder -> Add a new item as plugin type 

Select ‘Asset-Map’ plugin from the dropdown list

Navigate to the advanced region.

Select Asset category, sub-category and further sub-category as per the requirement and the relevant assets will be pulled through for selection when submitting the service request.

Enter the text you want the plugin button to display.

Lastly, save and publish the form.

 

Selecting the Asset while submitting the request

On the Asset map plugin page, select the plugin and a map view with the assets will be shown as per the configuration.

Select any asset by clicking on the map pointer.

It will display the details of the selected asset.

Click on select button to continue with your selection and proceed with done button.

Verify the details of the selected asset and submit the SR.

This plugin helps the submitter to view and select the asset accurately on the map.
