Dec2020 - How do I use the Repeater Field plugin with Assets?

Users are now able to utilise the Repeater Field plugin within Assets, expanding the functionality.

You will need to create a new Repeater Field item for use with Assets first. Instructions on how to create new Repeater Fields can be found here: https://itouchvision.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360011600557

What steps do I need to take to configure the Repeater Field plugin within Assets?

Go into Administration > Data > Modules

Select the Asset Category in the Modules list, then create/select a Tab you will be adding the Repeater Field item to.

Select the fields required, and Save the changes.

Go into Administration > Assets > Category

Select a Category, and then select the relevant Tab in the Category details page.

Save the changes.

To add the Repeater Field records to the Asset, go into Asset > Asset Details > Asset Information

Click on the icon to add/view the data.

The behaviour of the Repeater Field plugin is the same as it functions within Forms.
