How to configure asset tracker sensors

Sensors work alongside assets by attaching them onto the physical assets such as waste bins and pulling all the required data into the MCS platform.

To make the waste collection process simpler and smarter with automation, users can attach this small sensor device to the asset such as a litter bin. The device sends all the details such as precise location, status of the asset whether it’s empty or full, an alert such as a fire, etc direct to the MCS platform. This allows the authorities to plan the collection of the waste only when it is necessary thus preventing unnecessary rounds, an alert relating to any issue with the asset is also detected by the sensor.

Once the tracker sensor is installed and configured with a SIM, the device can be installed to the Asset.

Please ensure the following steps are covered-

Input the SIM card details

Add configuration details for the sensor

Assign tracker to the Asset (New or Existing)
