Admin Users now have the ability to enable Contract extension. This allows for the time period of a Contract's validity to be extended with applicable units of measurement (days, months, years, etc).
What steps do I need to take to enable Contract extensions?
Go into Administration > Contracts > Templates. Select any existing Contract template, or add a new one.
On the template details page, there is a setting to "Allow extra free days" under the "General" section. Admins can enable this to allow free days provision when creating Contracts from this Contract type.

Go into the Contracts tab and select any Contract using this template type. Within the Contract details, there is a new column under the "Item" section called "Extra free days".
Click on the icon under this column to bring up the following pop-up. Enter the number duration, and select the appropriate unit of measurement. In this example, the Contract end date will be extended by two months, so the new end date will be 11-MAR-2022.
Click on and then the changes.
