This guide is about the use of the contract scanning functionality for use on the MobileOps app. The guide lists out the requirements before this feature can be used on MobileOps and how to access and use the functions on the app.
Configuration
Requirements for use
To use contracts scanning functionality on MobileOps, there is some configuration that must take place on the admin portal:
· Layout - The contract layout including QR code must be configured on the admin portal. This will be required to fetch the details of the contracts for scanning.
· Email / PDF – The contract details can be emailed as a PDF or generated as a document which has the QR code to be used for scanning.
Here is an example of how this could be set up on an PDF document:
· Status transition – The appropriate statuses and their transition must be set to control how the flow/lifecycle of the status should go for contracts.
Use on the MobileOps app
Once the required configuration is in place, you are ready to use it on MobileOps.
Sign in MobileOps app on your Android or iOS device. Click on Apps tab > Contract to access the contracts functionality.
On the contract search screen, you will have two options to search a contract by typing or keying in the value for:
· Reference (Contract reference number)
· Contract (Contract number)
You can select any of the option by clicking on the radio button and then inputting the valid to retrieve contract details.
You can also access the scan functionality ‘Scan QR’ on the same screen.
You can click on this Scan QR button, and it will allow to scan the QR code to retrieve the contract details.
Once the contract details are retrieved, you can see different tabs like Information, Parties and Actions.
You can click on the top right side button to update the status of the contracts.
You can also navigate between tabs to view contract details and access different actions.
Actions will be synced to align with those on the admin portal.
