Release Notes - v26.1 (28th February 2026)

This article outlines the enhancements and further developments that form part of the v26.1 release, scheduled for deployment on live MCS systems on 28th February 2026.

V4 Customer Portal decommissioning	Customer Portal	The V4 Customer Portal is scheduled to be decommissioned. Migration to the V5 Customer Portal should be completed ahead of this upgrade.	Guide
Governance module	Governance	Introduction of the new Governance module, which allows committees to be set up, meetings managed, packs to be sent out to attendees, among other functionality. Can replace products such as Modern.Gov.	Guide
Consultations module	Consultations	Introduction of the new Consultations module, allowing councils to advertise, collate, and store all public opinion collected through consultations.	Guide
Restrict MFA options	Customer Portal	Allows MFA options to limit to email only, thereby preventing associated charges with SMS and/or phone call methods.	Guide
Activate account using OTP	Customer Portal	Upon account creation, the account can be activated using a one-time password sent to the account email.	Guide
Create ad hoc Tasks from a SR	MobileOps	Functionality to allow an operative to submit a Task on MobileOps and immediately create and work from an associated Task.	-
Feedback functionality	Customer Portal	Allows a feedback form to be created and applied to pages within the Customer Portal. This will appear as a link on the bottom of pages asking users if the page was helpful.	Guide
Supplier Contracts module	Supplier Contracts	Continuing developments on the Supplier Contracts module, that was introduced in the last release.	Guide
Customer Portal list view	Customer Portal	Provides the option to display categories on the Customer Portal in a list view, rather than grid.	Guide
Data lake solution	Analytics	Data can be exported on schedules in a JSON format, providing a comprehensive data collation and export capability.	-
Contract detail report column	Analytics	Addition of a Service Request column in the Contract detail report under analytics.	-
Spaces information report columns	Analytics	Addition of contract number, contract template, and asset attribute columns to the Space information report.	-
