MobileOps app supports offline synchronisation for Tasks and Adding observations.
The following guidelines are for Offline use:
Tasks
- Before going offline, tasks must be retrieved with an internet connection.
- Once the list of tasks is fetched, the operatives can go in the offline mode and the following operations can be undertaken:
- Add/update notes
- Add/update charges
- Add/update priority
- Add sub-tasks
- Add/update photos
- Add task forms
- One or more tasks can be updated in offline mode.
- Once internet connectivity is re-established, the user will get an alert to sync the data as shown in the screenshot.
- They can select individual item or click on Sync All on the top-right corner. This will enable syncing of the data on the app as well as the back-end.
Adding Observations via Assets
- Before going offline, the Asset list must be retrieved with an internet connection. (with appropriate filters on Category and Sub-category..
- Once in offline mode the following operations can be performed by clicking on ‘Load previously searched address’-
- Add Observations (Click on ‘I’ icon)
- Add Observation photos
- One or more Observations can be added/updated in the offline mode.
- Once internet connectivity is re-established, the userwill get an alert to sync the data as shown in the screenshot. They can select individual item or click on ‘Sync All’. This will enable syncing of the data on the app as well as the back-end.
Note- If you are in low network, then you must go completely offline as otherwise it will interrupt the data sync.
