Role-based access options can be configured against templates used to send documents, SMS and emails for different modules.
Please see the instructions below:
- Go to Administration -> Templates -> Email / SMS/ Document
- Select any template and go to the template detail page
- Select the Access level from Public, Customer and/or User. Save the template.
- Once configured the templates will be visible and accessible to the users as per their access roles.
After the configuration is done, the admin user can navigate to the module to send the notification. As an example here, to ensure only specific roles have access to the templates used for sending notification against Spaces (Allotments), once the above configuration is in place, then:
- Go to Spaces (Allotments) tab -> Applications -> Options
- Click on Send notification
- The templates in the select list will be displayed based on the access role of the user.
- This will assist the user to create specific templates for notifications according to roles.
