Configuration on the Admin Portal

The user can configure branding and text for the Collection Day page as below-

• Administration -> GDS -> Portal 
• Configure the Logo, Header Background and Text Color 
• Set the Separator colour
• Set the Footer coloru, text and logo

For the Collection calendar branding-

• Navigate to Collection calendar region
• Set the text for Title, Header and Footer

Using the Rubbish collection days functionality-

The councils can embed the URL link to their website, on the MCS Portal or as an independent link as needed. The end-user can visit the page and use the functionality to fetch their upcoming collections.

• Enter the postcode and click on ‘Find’ button
• Select the address from the list and the upcoming collections will be displayed below the region

• To search for another address, click on ‘Clear address and start again’
• To add the schedule to your iCalendar, click on ‘Add to your calendar’ option on the right-side menu
• To view or download the PDF file of the annual collection calendar, click on ‘Download printable schedule’ and then click on Download Printable Calendar
