How do I merge duplicate assets?

Navigate to Assets tab -> Options -> Merge


Select the category and subcategory options to narrow down the search results or click on search directly to display all records


Select the maximum result options (25, 50, 100, 250, 500) 


On clicking the Search button, the results will be displayed for selection

Click on the cross icon  to expand and view the assets list 

You can select one or more assets from the list for merging them together. And select one asset to be the primary asset (Example – As per screenshot below, Asset 20153 for the Plot 45 A will be the primary asset and all the other assets will be merged under this asset)

The details of the assets selected to be merged will lead to all information being collated under the primary asset

 

Next, move to Merge actions region where you can select the details to be merged – Locations, Tasks, Documents and Images, Attributes. As per the selection, the details related to location, task, documents and attributes of the assets will be merged together. 

 

 

The duplicate assets will be merged along with all the details withheld under the primary asset.

 

The history of the primary asset will contain the information recorded as needed.
