Additional Prices are custom prices that are configured to specific bulky items. This can be used when certain items need to be removed from a property that are especially hard to remove, such as sheds or other large objects, and would therefore cost more as a result.
Go to Navigation -> Waste Items. Click “add”, then select a name and max quantity for this waste item. This maximum quantity represents how many can be selected in that category per booking. Once you are happy with this, click “add” to create your group.
Next, click the edit button to the left side of the waste item you want to add additional prices for. Here, you should select “yes” on “Ignore weighting in Price Calculation” as the additional price should be a flat fee and should therefore not be involved in the weighting. Below is an example of how this menu should look.
Once this has been done, you can add a new item to the group in the table below. To do this, click “add row” then input the name of your waste item.
On the Cost column, input the price you want for the service of removing the bulky item. This will be added to the total price of the booking, as well as the price of the weightings from other waste items, such as fridges or tables, found in other waste groups.
When you have confirmed that all aspects of the waste item are done, click “Save” in the top right of the menu.
Adding the Waste Item with Additional Price to a Booking Item:
Now, to add this to the booking item, go to Administration -> Bookings and Appointments -> Items. Next, select the appropriate booking item. Click Add -> Waste Item, and select the catalogue you have just created. If you want to add every item from the catalogue, leave the "Item" dropdown blank. Otherwise, select the item you wish to add.
Now, click "add" to add the waste item. Then, click "Save" in the top right to save the booking item.
Now, when you make a booking with the booking item, selecting the waste item with the additional price will add a flat fee to the total, and will not affect the total weighing of the booking. For example, if 3 other items were added, each with a weighting of 1, the weighting will still be 3, despite there being 4 items in the bulky booking.
