How to add a location for an asset item

To add a location for an asset item, go to Assets, and add a new asset item or edit an existing item.

1. Click on Location under the add section.


2. Enter postcode and select the address from the list.


3. Enter the description and add the location.

The location(s) added against this asset item will appear in this list on the Asset details page. The admin can click on the description icon to view the content.

How to add links for an asset item

To add an external link for an asset item, go to Assets, and add a new asset item or edit an existing item.

1. Click on ‘Link’ under the Add section.


2. Enter the name and URL of the link.


3. Enter the description and add the link.

The link(s) added against this asset item will appear in this list on the asset details page. The admin will be redirected to the URL of the link once they click on this link item.

How to add a customer profile for an asset item

To add a customer against an asset item, go to Assets, and add a new asset item or edit an existing item.

1. Click on ‘Customer’ under the Add section.


2. Search and select the person and his/her role from the pre-populated list.


3. The system will auto-populate the start date as today’s date and it is unchangeable. The administrator can select the end date.


4. Enter the description and save the customer against this asset.

The customer(s) added against this asset will appear in this list on the asset details page. The admin can open and view the customer profile by clicking on the username.

Pictorial representation of relationships between assets

Go to Asset item and click on ‘Relationship’ under the view section. It will display the hierarchy of the relationships between different assets added by the administrator.
