How do I configure Multi-Factor Authentication for GDS and Admin Portals

To enable Multi-factor authentication on GDS and admin portal, go to Administration > GDS > Settings

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the Settings page, scroll down and enable Yes for two-factor authentication radio button.

 

 

 

Once MFA enabled, multi-factor authentication will be available on the GDS and admin login page. Enter the credentials and click on login. You will be redirected to multi-factor authentication page as displayed below:

 

 

Users can select any of the options SMS or Call for authentication. After clicking on validate, enter the code received via selected channel and click on continue. The system will allow the user/customer to resend or recall after 30 seconds. The system will allow the user/customer to resend or recall after 30 seconds. 

Please note: That if MFA is enabled for the admin portal. A telephone number must be added on the users profile. If not  then the user will not be able to login to the portal. An administrator will have to add a number on the user’s profile in order that MFA can be used to enable the user to complete the login.
