Attachment folders can be used to hold many Service Request attachments of the same type in a single folder. This can be useful as SRs with many attachments may be hard to organise.
Firstly, navigate to the Service Module, and select an SR you wish to add an attachment to. You can filter SRs by using the "options" button, which would allow you to filter SRs by catalogue, forms, status, group and more. If you have the SR number for the Service Request, simply paste it in the search bar.
Once you have selected the SR you wish to add attachments to, press the "edit" button to open the SR.
Now, go to Add --> Attachment on the menu on the right hand side. Next, click "add" and select the file you wish to upload. Select the type using the dropdown that appears after the file is selected, then click "upload" to upload the attachment.
If you do not select the attachment type when adding an attachment, the file will go into a miscellaneous folder named "others". This helps files that do not fall into the definitions of the attachment types remain tidy and organised.
A folder should now be under the "attachments" tab of the SR, labeled as the type of attachment you have chosen. This will allow multiple files of the same type to be uploaded in the same place, which prevents the cluttering and untidiness of SRs with a high number of attachments.
If no attachment type is selected, the "other" folder as shown, will be made.
To access the files inside the folders, simply click on the folder.
