How do I add notes for items upon contract renewal
This enhancement will allow the user to configure notes for the renewal of items against advanced contracts within the template. The notes can be added via service request for existing items when changing the quantity and for any new additional items added to the contract on renewal.
A service request note is added to the service request when the contract renewal plugin is used for renewing a contract.
1) The first step is to go to Adminstration on the left hand side of the screen and then navigate to Contracts>Templates.
2) Once you have clicked on Templates you will then see a list of all templates appear as shown in the picture below. You will need to click on the edit box on the left hand side of the template you would like to edit this will take you into the 'Template detail page'
3) Once you have clicked on the edit button you will now be on the 'Template Detail' page. Please scroll down to the Renewal section as seen in the picture and ensure you have selected 'Yes' for 'Auto renewal' & 'Add note on renewal'. Please scroll back up to the top of the page and save these changes.
4) Once you have made the above changes in Step 3 . The item and details added/modified on the contract renewal will be displayed in the notes of the service request. Please see the example picture below.
