In order to complete Appointment Booking configurations, an Appointment Product is required. The process is simple, and outlined in full within this article. If you require full instructions for how to set up Appointment Bookings, please refer to the following:

What steps do I need to follow to create an Appointment product?
Go into Administration > Products > Category
Click
on the following screen.
Enter an appropriate name and click
to save this Product Category.
Now go into the Products module and click
on the following screen.
The following pop-up will appear. Set the Type as "Product", and select the Category you have just created. Enter an appropriate name, and select a Status that denotes this Product as available.
A price is a necessary part of Product creation, but can be set as follows. Set the Price Type as "Simple", and enter "0" into the Price field.
Select the appropriate Currency, and click
to finish. This Product is now ready for use when configuring Appointment Bookings on your system.
