By default, your instance will send out emails from [noreply@mycouncilservices.com]. There may be instances where this causes problems (e.g. certain customer email providers may automatically detect these emails as spam/junk).
You are able to change this default noreply email address to fall in line with the rest of your organisation's email addresses. Please ask your IT department to carry this out for you.
What steps do I need to follow to change the "From" address?
Go into Administration > Mail > Templates
The following screen will appear. In the "From" region, the default email address should be set to [noreply@mycouncilservices.com].
In order to change this to [noreply@yourorganisation.gov.uk], you will need to configure SPF and DKIM requirements. Again, please refer this to your IT department for processing.
SPF allows email senders to define which IP addresses are allowed to send mail for a particular domain. Please include our domain in your SPF record: "include:mycouncilservices.com"
DKIM provides an encryption key and digital signature that verifies that an email message was not forged or altered. You will need to add a TXT record with "itouch vision" as DKIM selector, along with the following public key value.
Please triple-click on this value to select all of it, then right-click to copy:
