How do I configure Portlets on my system?

Portlets enables an Organisation to create map portlets with specific URLS which displays the location of Service Requests based on a set of configured criteria.


 


1. How to create a Portlet


Admin Users can configure Portlets as follows:-


01. Go to Administration > Location > Portlets.



02. Click 'Add Portlet'.


03. Enter the details for the Portlet as follows:-


1. Provide a name for the portlet.


2. The display items that are required to be shown against each SR on the portlet such as Report ID, Category.


3. The height/width of the map that will be displayed on the website.



 






04. Select the display criteria as follows:-


1. Select the Catalogue and Form name for the Service Request (Multiple Forms can be selected).


2. Select a status - optional.


3. Select a Priority - optional.


4. Select an Area - optional.


5. Select a Parish - optional.


6. Submission date - can be selected as 'Between' or 'Days old'.  If 'Between' enter a start and end date.


 


 


05. Set a Boundary



Set the centre of the boundary by selecting a pinpoint on the map and set the Radius from this point.


Click 'Save'.



06. Get URL


Once the portlet has been created  to obtain the URL for the Portlet, click 'Edit' and view the 'Links' section'. 

This can be embedded into the relevant webpage as required.
