How do I configure a Date Picker Item on a Form?

A Date Picker is often used for obtaining date- and/or time-based information (date of birth, when a Parking Permit is to commence, etc).

Under “Keyboard Type”, you have three options to choose from:

01. Date Picker - allows for the selection of dates

02. Time Picker - allows for the selection of times

03. Date and Time Picker - allows for the selection of both dates and times (often used alongside payments to pay for date/time specific issues 

In the Validations section, you can set the date and/or time parameters as required.

IMPORTANT

Please note that a Date Picker cannot be used to document the date of an incident, as the system will not register it as the primary date.

The primary date can be configured via the use of the “Incident Date” Plugin, but please be aware that the system already provides you with a time and date of recording automatically.
