Setting up the fund for grant
The user can set up funds for grants using Administration -> Grants -> Funds
Click on Add to create a new fund. The page shows the list of funds already created.
Enter the name of the fund
Select the type of the fund from the pre-populated list (currently static options) and funding organisation (as available in the system)
Select the open and close dates for the fund to be active
Navigate to the general region to configure the size of the grant in terms of amount and set the amounts on offer per grant application. Note that the values will be validated as required. For example, if the total size of the Grant is 100000, then the amounts on offer can be up to that amount.
Tick the boxes for the eligibility of the applicants like Personal, Public sector, Non-profit, and Private sector.
Navigate to the Access region to define the access in terms of Public, Customer and/or User.
Add the fund that can then be used with the service request to be granted by the admin.
Once the fund is added, the user can edit the details or delete it from the list.
Approving the grant on service request
The Grant option can be enabled by support team upon request.
Go to any service request detail, and select the ‘Grant’ option under Add menu.
Select the fund from the list as configured on the system. These will be available in the list based on the access given and dates (open and close) on the fund configuration.
Enter the amount of the grant. (This amount should be within the limit as set on the fund configuration)
Select the date (should be within the fund dates as configured above) and add the description as needed.
Add the grant to the service request.
The grants on the service request will be recorded on the grants region and also on History.
Grant Analytics
There is a simple report to capture an overview of the grant along with its transactions and amounts.
It also allows the administrator to filter all the grants received by a customer against a specific period.
Go to Analytics tab -> grant reports
Select the customer and/or grant from the list and period to filter out the data.
A complete history of the transactions along with the reference to service requests, dates, customer names, etc. is shown to the administrator.
The grants overview section highlights the amount used and the amount remaining within that fund.
