My council services provides to ability to create a status and transition and then apply them to a form.
Firstly you will need to create a status.
Administration->Services request and case->Status
Then you will need to add a new status by clicking on the add button
After you have clicked on the add button, the following screen will appear
You will need to give the status a Name
A type which will be matched to the status which the system will recognise
Start date and end date
KPI value which is for monitor rules
Enable or disable the final status. (Is the status created the final status) When the status created is selected, it will close the SR.
Notify is related to bookings
If a Signature is required then before changing the SR status, a signature will be required .
Once the fields have been completed, you will need to click on the add button.
To add a transition which is a life cycle for a service request, you will need to go to Administration->Service request and case->Transition
Once opened you will need to click on the add button.
The following screen will appear
You will need to give the transition a Name
Transition type
Initial status which will be the first status
Final status which will be the last status
Confirm status which is for bookings.
Once the fields have been completed, please click on the add button.
Now you will be redirected back to the transition home page however you will still need to add a life cycle to the transition. You will need to find the transition you have just created and then click on the edit button shown below.
When your transition, you will be able to add new rows and add your from statuses and to statues which I have done in the below attachment.
Once you have added your status rows, you will need to click on the save button.
To link the transition to a form, you will need to go to Administration->Service request and Case->Forms builder.
Within forms builder you will need to find the form you would like the transition to be linked to and head to the forms details page.
In form details, you will find transitions where you can then select and link the transition you have just created.
Once you have added the transition, please click on the Save button.
