As a security mechanism on cases, only the users who have raised the case and/or have been added as contact points can view, be assigned tasks, or receive emails. Contacts can be added via the right side menu on the case details. This functionality helps to prevent sharing case information with anyone else than the required and concerned people.
When a case has been submitted, locate the case, and proceed to the case details
Role-based access on Tasks
Add a Task using the right side menu and then proceed to add a “Person”. The select list will display only the concerned people associate with the case.
Role-based access on Send Email
When sending an email the select list will only display the concerned people associate with the case. If an email is to be sent to anyone additionally then you need to type the full email address.
