Add Tasks - UI

The design of the ‘Add task’ page has been simplified to make it consistent across different modules and user-friendly to add different options to it. In terms of functionality, it remains same.

Service and Case

• SR Detail -> Add Task
• Case Detail -> Add Task

The new design contains all the options available in the old design but structured into categories like More, Owner, Copy and an additional option to add Location from this page. 

• More – This section includes Status, Start date and duration and ability to add contact as a person or organisation. 

• Owner – This section includes the ability to add or update Owner and Contributor.

• Copy – This section includes the ability to copy the information from parent SR or Case to the child Task including Attachments (files), Contact and phone number, Location and Owner. 

Please note if the separate Location or Owner sections are selected along with the copy section then this will remove the Owner and Location options from the copy section (see below)

• Location – This is a new section that includes the ability to add task location from the contact person of the SR/Case or add by selecting the postcode.

  Contact – Admin can select from the list of all the customers added and their addresses
  Asset – Admin can select from the list of all the addresses added against the asset
   Postcode – Admin can search and select the address

• Copy – This is a new section which includes the ability to copy the information from parent Asset to the child Task including Attachments, Contact and phone number and Location.

Main Task, Sub-task, Contact Centre and Task Planner

• Task Tab -> Add Task
• Task Detail -> Add Task
• Task Tab -> Options -> Planner -> Create Task
• Contact Centre -> Service -> Action -> Add Task
