Copying and updating rules can be useful for creating and editing multiple rules quickly.
Go to Administration --> Service Requests and Case --> Rules
Here, a list of rules should appear, as shown below. Find the rule you wish to copy, and then click the "edit" button
Once you have clicked "edit" on the desired rule, select "copy" on the top right of the menu. This will automatically generate an identical rule, labeled as "copy of [rule name]".
Now, the new copied rule should be on the rule list, as shown below. This new copied rule is automatically disabled to prevent the duplication of actions, such as email sending. To enable this, simply edit the copied rule and change "enabled" to "yes".
UPDATING MULTIPLE RULES SIMULTANEOUSLY:
To update multiple rules at the same time, navigate to the aforementioned "rules" page, then click on "update" as shown here:
Now, you will see this menu. Here, you can filter the rules by process, type, subprocess, conditions, actions, enabled and more. Use this menu to select the rules you wish to update. Once you have done this, click "search" in the top right of the menu. Now, you can use the highlighted buttons to disable or enable all selected rules or delete the rules.
After you have click on the appropriate highlighted box, a green box (shown below) should appear on your screen. This means that you have successfully updated the rules.
