How to download a CSV file for scheduled Service Export report
The enhancement allows users to download the Service Export report as a CSV file for a single form.
Pre-requisites: A Layout must be configured
Administration > Branding > Layout >
1) Go to administration and find 'Layout' that's within the 'Branding' section.
2) Set up your layout, you can either edit an existing layout or add a new one.
3) Select your type 'Service' and also select your sub type 'Service Export'. The layout format must be set to 'xlsx' and the output format must be set to 'csv'.
4) On the right hand side of the layout configuration, you will have the option to view tags.
You're able to download and view the tag file by clicking on 'Click here to download'.
5) All of the below options need to be set to 'No' to ensure the CSV file can be downloaded. Please see the picture below:
Once you have completed all the above steps, you will now be able to download a CSV file for a scheduled export report.
You can do this by following these steps:
7) Go to the 'Analytics' module on the left hand side and then select 'Service Export'. Then, select "add schedule".
8) Select the catalogue and then choose the form you want to download a report on. Fill out all the required configuration as normal and then select the layout you configured.
You will then want to click on the "schedule" button at the bottom of the screen to activate the schedule.
Now, this schedule can be used to export SR Reports.
Please Note: The Administrator can remove the non-required fields from the xlsx file while configuring the layout. However, the first and the last columns should remain untouched.
