How to define a print layout to download contract notification?

The administrator can create a layout to be used in formatting the document (attachment) while downloading the contract notifications to the users.


Part A – Define Layout


  1. Go to Administration > Branding > Layout
  2. Select Type > Contract > Sub-type > Download notification letter
  3. Upload the layout format file and choose the relevant output option (Refer to the sample layout at the end). Click on Save.



Part B - Template creation


  1. Go to Administration > General > Templates > Document Template
  2. Add new or select any template and select the Layout from the list created in the above step.
  3. Click on Save.


Part C – Send notification


  1. Go to Contracts tab > Options > Send notification
  2. Select the template and contracts for which you need to download the notification letter/document
  3.  Choose the sending method as Letter and select the document template created in the above step
  4. Click on Download button.



This will download the file with the required format (based on above configuration) on to your system which can be printed and sent across for the intended purpose.


Note – It is important to define and use the appropriate layout.


The two new dynamic fields #CUSTOMER_ID# and #CURRENT_DATE# are also now supported for template creation purpose.
