We have implemented a new "Join" plugin to the MCS platform. This plugin enables Admin Users to configure notification group subscription options on Service Request forms. It allows users to opt-in for notification groups, based on their preferences.
What steps do I need to take to configure the Join plugin on forms?
Go into Forms Builder, select the appropriate form, and add a new Item.
Set the Item Type to "Plugin", and select the "Join Group" plugin from the list.
Scroll down to the Advanced settings, and select the relevant notification group(s). These groups will display for users to opt-in to when filling out the form.
Save and publish the form.
When users now access this form, they will be able to join the notification groups selected, and will receive relevant updates.
Admin Users can view and manage notification group subscriptions under the user's profile in Community.
