What system integrations does MCS support?

With our platform, we offer two principle approaches to system integrations.

REST web services

Our web services allow you to pull service requests, case, tasks, and customer information and load it into systems within your existing IT infrastructure. Data can then be pushed back onto our platform to update information.

All web-services are published/documented on SwaggerHub so this gives the documentation on the methods and the various parameters:-

https://app.swaggerhub.com/apis/iTouchVisionLimited/api/8.0.6

Current version of web-services is 8.06. This can be upgraded with each Demo/Production upgrade deployment as new methods are built or existing methods are amended/removed. They are REST web services.

The API URL for each system is:-

Demo - https://itouch.vision/demo/integration/

Production - https://itouch.vision/integration/

As an example - https://itouch.vision/integration/806/serviceRequest/ - this points to the Production instance, is the 8.06 version of the web-services and is using the 'Get ServiceRequest’ method.

Additional Information

  • Authentication is using a PublicKey so ‘iPublicKey’ needs to be passed in the Header.  The Publickey for each client is different for both Demo and Production. If you require these keys then please contact us at isupport@abavus.co.uk
  • On the Catalogue where the Form resides, the integration setting will need to be enabled and  the relevant integration profile will need to be selected. The ‘Default’ profile can be used if the integration is unknown.
  • Values for questionCodes need to be saved at least once in the integration screens.  They need to be unique on the Form.  And saved against the  integration 'Profile' set on the Catalogue.

Checklist for the customer

Bespoke integrations

This allows us to connect applications together quickly and easily, enabling them to exchange data.

It facilitates easy integration of existing systems, regardless of the different technologies that the applications use, including JMS, Web Services, JDBC, HTTP, and more.

Our Enterprise Service Bus can integrate and orchestrate events in real-time or in batch and has universal connectivity.

We currently have the following 3rd party system/application integrations with our Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)**

  1. Waste Providers - Whitespace & Springboard, Echo, Bartec.
  2. Notify.gov.uk - Notifications service for SMS and Letters (in Testing).
  3. iDox (Uniform) - Service Request Connector.  Planning Connector, Building Control Connector, Licencing Connector.
  4. Mayrise - Highways, Street-lighting, Grounds.
  5. Active Directory - using Azure ADFS.
  6. Symology - Highways Asset Management.
  7. Kudos - Bulky Collection Management System
  8. Blue Badge - Valtech
  9. SSO (Single Sign On) - Capita & Northgate (Council Tax and Benefits)

* ESB is a managed integration service provided by us.
